It's really no big surprise, but the official word from NBC is that the Wonder Woman television show has been canceled before it even gets a chance to air. Thanks to this tweet we have a shot of the Wonder-Woman-That-Could-Have-Been in this picture of Adrianne Palicki wearing the "booty shorts" version of the costume.

Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale
Atari's Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale was released today for the Xbox Live Arcade (1200 MS Points) and the PC ($14.99 direct download or in-store purchase). It releases on May 31st for the PlayStation Network ($14.99). It's not a question of whether or not I'll get it, the question is which platform? LINKAGE to official site.

The newest trailer for the upcoming (June 17th) Green Lantern movie is pinned to some 3D showings of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and makes all the previous Lantern trailers look like crap.

The State of Gaming Today
I am really hating this recent trend when it comes to purchasing new games: exclusive DLC depending upon which store you purchase the game from, players getting special DLC/levels/costumes/shinies for buying it on Day One, paying a premium for map packs, et cetera. It's getting crazy. And it's not isolated to the console market. PC games are suffering from this as well (I'm looking at you, Dragon Age 2).
The following pic sums it up rather nicely.

New Wonder Woman Costume Revealed
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm about a week behind in cool news. Dealing with some personal stuff that's keeping me from going full-geek as of late. Whatever.
Anyway, here is the first look at the new Wonder Woman costume for the upcoming NBC series (the pilot could be released as early as this fall).
I certainly don't hate it, but certain aspects don't make sense to me: the latex is a bit too shiny, the heels - though sexy - don't make for an athletic costume. Well, it looks like the newest pictures taken on set are a bit different. No more heels, less shine, and the boots are now red.
Rumor has it that the second picture is actually the stunt double.
At any rate, Adrienne Palicki looks hot as the new Wonder Woman. I just really hope the new series won't be terrible. By the way, if Palicki doesn't look quite so familiar to you in these shots, check out THESE PICTURES where she looks a lot more like her character from Friday Night Lights.
