Back to Karkand, Battlefield 3's first expansion (aka DLC), is set to be released next month (December, 2011) and includes the following four redone maps from Battlefield 2: Strike at Karkand, Wake Island, Gulf of Oman, and Sharqi Peninsula. It will also include a new game mode (Conquest Assault) and a host of new weapons and vehicles. If you don't play BF3 but are a veteran of BF2, it's interesting to compare and contrast the following videos with the BF2 maps that you know and love.
