Quentin Tarantino has spoken elaborately on the influences for the Kill Bill movies. The following is a really well edited display of those influences.

I love how much of his OWN stuff he recycles. Lines, shots, hell - nearly even full scenes! I knew he ripped off...er was "influenced by" a lot of stuff, and this is funny as hell... BUT these two things stuck out at me:
- Bill's flute was David Carradine's idea. He liked it since he played it in the 70's film (shown!).
- Elle Driver's torturous wriggle compared to Pris' death scene in Blade Runner - well of course they're the same. They're both Daryl Hannah :D
