Maybe you were born in 1985 and remember growing up to these things, but I was just finishing high school and moving on to college. Then afterwards: first apartment, first time going out to the bars with my buddies, first time out on my own... the 90's hold a very dear spot in my memory. So, even though this is geared more towards growing up in the 90's, it still elicited a shit-ton of awesome memories for me.
Meh - the 90's weren't anything great to me. I graduated HS in 92, floated around the job scene until 96, went to college, graduating in 98.
ReplyDeleteI did recognize a lot of the stuff in that video - all the Nickelodeon junk, for example - but yeah, I agree that it's geared toward someone who was young through the 90's.
Among all the crap shown -- No South Park in there? RHCP's Give It Away video? Amish Paradise video? Tsk tsk... they need more.
Heh, sure they missed a ton of stuff - my version of the '90s in 94 seconds would be drastically different.
