Lego Antikythera Mechanism
At the turn of the last century, a strange mechanism was found in a sunken shipwreck off the coast of a Greek island called Antikythera. The wreck itself has been dated back to sometime during the first century BC. For years the mechanism's use and construction was absolutely unknown leading people to speculate everything from alien technology to novelty automata. It's said to have the complexity and intricacies of a Swiss clock, especially in its precision in accurately calculating astronomical movements, for which it was designed and, as such, has been called the world's oldest analog computer.
And it has been reconstructed using Lego bricks.
